Domaine Hubert Brochard
Loire Valley has been the source of great wines made from Sauvignnon Blanc for a long time. Long before this varietal becomes a fashionable grape. A standard bearer in Sancerre, the Brochard family has been growing vines since 16th century. They are located in Chavignol village, famous for the goat cheese (now you know what cheese goes well with Sancerre). Their wines are true and authentic representation of what Sancerre and Sauvignon Blanc should be.

Domaine Huet
Widely considered to be the single greatest Vouvray domaine and one of the foremost white wine producers in the world today, Domaine Huet l’Echansonne (as they are known in full) should require little introduction. The vineyard had been converted to biodynamic since 1990 long before biodynamic becomes widely known. It speaks volume for the quality focus of this producer. Domaine Huet has always been a benchmark , a reference point. Not just for Loire but the entire wine producing area in the world.

Past recognitions include,
- Jancis Robinson MW : Top-quality classic, very pure fruit, no new small oak, no malolactic fermentation and considerable bottle age – in short the very opposite of modern wine orthodoxy.
- Wine Doctor : This is a benchmark domaine, its relevance extending in fact far beyond the confines of the Loire.
- Neal Martin : So Damn Pretty
- La Revue du Vin de France : Direct and pure, the precision of the mineral nuances in the wines has no comparison
