Domaine La Croix Belle
A small and family owned domaine whose history date back to 1794. The winemaking is simple: do as little as possible in the vineyard, pick healthy grapes, crush and ferment the berries carefully then leave the juice to sit for a few months before bottling.
The wines wowed us when we tasted them. Give them a try and see if you agree.
Past recognitions include
- 10 years of selection, Guide Hachette
- Coup de Coeur, Gault & Millau
- Top Values From France, Wine Spectator
- Top 10 of the Greatest French Vin de Pays Producer -Tom Stevenson
Domaine de Mus
Bernard Julien and his team are one of the best vignerons in the region. His vineyards are situated a few miles north of Bezieres in the Herault, Domaine de Mus is a significant and rather grand edifice, built in 1848 on an ancient defensive site overlooking the river Orb.
We believe Domaine de Mus makes some of the most transparent wines in the south of France.
Chateau Vignelaure ,Le Page de Vignelaure rosé
Rosé from Cabernet Sauvignon old vines which delivers good complexity and freshness. The chateau was among the first to plant Cabernet Sauvignon in Provence. Today the investment pays off in terms of very low yields, concentrated grapes. In addition, the vineyard is situated high above sea level, 350-480 metres. It is one of the coolest vineyards in the area. Old vines+cool climate are always good thing for wine. After an extensive tasting, we can say with confident that Le Page de Vignelaure rose isone of the best in the market.
